Photograph depicts a small steamer with the name "Rose Standish" moored at the end of the wharf in St. Andrews. A group of men and women stand atop the wharf, several with umbrellas, along with several horses and a small wagon or carriage. A small stretch of beach is visible in the foreground, with two rowboats. Much of the town's central waterfront is visible in the background, as well as another long wharf a moderate distance away. A portion of the Algonquin Hotel can be seen in the distance, behind the line of the roof of a shed on the wharf.
