Description

Leather-bound album with removable pages tied with string, containing 46 photographs, each individually mounted on its own page. The majority of the photographs have handwritten captions above and/or below the photographs, added at a later date. Photographs depict views of buildings, streets, ships, trains, and groups of people in St. Andrews, as well as Chamcook Lake and Oak Bay. Many of the photographs were reproduced via photogravure in the 1896 booklet "Souvenir of St. Andrews," with D. Will McKay identified as the photographer.

Notes

Photographs digitized and preliminarily catalogued by the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick (designated P682 at PANB). This album, along with P751.A2, appears to have been mistakenly grouped with the donation of D. Will McKay photographs from the Estate of Frank Haughn, acquired the same year, until its own material transfer form was located.
